Honor Flight Steak Supper
The Buchanan County American Legion and Veterans of foreign wars will be hosting a steak supper on Saturday September 25th from 4-8 PM at the Buchanan County Fairgrounds 4-H Building.
Our purpose is to raise funds to help sponsor an Honor Flight for our area World War II Veterans. Eastern Iowa Honor Flight will fly WWII Veterans from Buchanan and surrounding counties from Cedar Rapids to Washington DC to visit the WWII Memorial built in their honor in 2004.
Dinner will include 14oz rib eye steak, baked potato, coleslaw, roll and drink for $14. Cash Bar is also available.
This will be an opportunity for you to say, “Thank You” to our area Veterans and show your support and best wishes for their role in protecting our freedom and rights.
The brave always defined what the rest of us wish to be. Bravery is not the lack of fear; but the will to overcome it.
Most important, All Gave Some and Some Gave All.
