Events and Activities : Softball tourney benefit set for Deanne Halstead, July 11

Deanne Halstead was recently diagnosed with breast cancer and had surgery several weeks ago. She will now need to go through chemotherapy.

Her family is sponsoring a fundraiser/softball tournament on Saturday July 11 at the Vinton Lions Field between 11:00-2:00.

There will be grilled brats, pork burgers, snow cones, popcorn, baked goods, and drinks available to purchase at the field. All proceeds from the tournament and food sales will go to Deanne and her fight against cancer.

There will also be a racing simulator for participants to try.

Donations will be accepted at the softball field that day or can be deposited at Farmers Savings Bank - Deanne Halstead Cancer Benefit.
