Events and Activities : 2nd Annual Arts in the Park event set for June 20

The Arts In The Park Festival will be held on the 20th day of June from 9 am – 4 pm. at elebration Park in Vinton, located at 1st Avenue and West 2nd Street next to the Cedar River bridge.

Admission is free; many area artists plan to exihibit their work and offer a variety of items for sale.

Smokin' on the Cedar & Laydbug Concessions will be the food vendors.

Entertainment from the gazebo will include music by Larry Roster/Barb Riggle, Sam Thompson, Steve Steinhoef, Mark Hancock & concluding with up with Larry & Barb from 3 - 4 p.m.

There will be door prizes and silent auctions for 10 ear of corn statues & various pieces of artwork. Regina Fennern will also entertain folks with her hula hoops & bubbles. The Farmers Savings Bank & Trust popcorn machine there Chalk will be available for kids of all ages to draw on the sidewalks. The Vinton Guild of Fine Arts is leading the event. Several members of the Guild will also participate in an art show before the concert during this weekend's Benton County Country Fest.
