Events and Activities : Area group to discuss growing food for the hungry March 25

A group of concerned citizens will meet at the Wesley Methodist Church in the Fireplace room on March 25 at 6:30 to talk about gardening locally on green space to feed the hungry. Organizers are looking for people to volunteer and who would like to help, to grow and harvest. Everyone is welcome.

This meeting is the follow-up to the meeting earlier this month with Feed Iowa First leader Sonia Kedrick. Feed Iowa First works with community leaders to turn lawns into gardens to grow items to share with those in need.
