Events and Activities : Parent Support Group meets every month; next gathering set for Dec. 2

The Horizons Family Support Program invites area parents to a Parent Support Group. The meetings take place the first Tuesday of each month at the Horizons office at 215 North K Avenue in Vinton. Topic change monthly and include tips for navigating the welfare system mental health, child development by age range and others. The topic for the next meeting on Tuesday, Dec. 2, will be healthy eating habits for families.
