Events and Activities : VS bowlers plan 9-Pin fund-raiser, Nov. 1

The Vinton-Shellsburg Bowling team is ready to hit the lanes in November for their second year of bowling competitively. We are kicking off the bowling season with our 2nd Annual 9 Pin Bowling tournament on November 1st. This year the V-S coach, Amber Pattee will be leading the our high school teams in twelve competitions from November to February. The V-S Bowling teams start out their first competition at home on November 25th at 4:00pm.

9 Pin Bowling Tournament will be held at Berry's Lanes on November 1st with two sessions: 2:00 pm and 5:00 pm. Entry fee is $10.00 per person (3 games). Trophies will be awarded to the top three finishers in three age groups after the second group has completed their bowling. The three age groups are 10 & Under, 11-18 year old, and 19 and Older. We are looking forward to having a lot of fun with family and friends while gaining the support we need to have another successful year of bowling. The 9 Pin Bowling Tournament is open to the public with all proceeds going to the V-S bowling team. We will also have bowling t-shirt order forms available at the bowling tournament to purchase. Cash donations are also being accepted and can be dropped of at the High School or Berry's Lanes. Stop by Berry's Lanes on November 1st and support the V-S Bowling team. We hope to see you there!!
