Events and Activities : Ikes to host their 3rd Annual Hog Roast, Aug. 2

On Saturday, August 2nd, the Red Cedar Chapter of the Izaak Walton League will be hosting their 3rd annual Hog Roast.

The menu will consist of pulled pork sandwiches from pork provided by the Wiley family and prepared by Scott Bahmann – one of the award winners of last year’s 50th Annual Farm Bureau Cookout Contest at the Iowa State Fair. Add to that sweet corn and fixin’s from Fareway and homemade desserts from chapter members – and you’re bound to have a great meal everyone can enjoy.

There will be a raffle for a Henry Golden Boy .22 rifle as well.

The price for all you can eat is $9 for adults, $4 ages 4 to 12 and all kids under 4 eat free. The meal will be served beginning at 4PM and ending at 7PM.
