Events and Activities : VPRD plans another Bingo Night Feb. 23

The Vinton Parks & Recreation Department is excited about hosting another fun night of Bingo at the Vinton Skate & Activity Center. On Sunday, February 23, the center will turn in to a bingo hall from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. and the cool thing is it is free! That’s right because of the overwhelming sponsorship, everyone can come out and have a great time and it won’t cost a penny.

Last month, we had a great crowd even with a blizzard going on outside and we anticipate a good turnout again with lots of fun for everyone. We had individuals from 2 years old through 90 year olds. The good thing is it doesn’t matter what your age, everybody can win. And yes, the rumors are correct; we are honored to have a guest caller because the normal caller has broken his contract and is unable to attend. There are no limits to the type of games he will be playing from the traditional bingos to the picture frames to the final event of the night, Blackout! This year we will once again have the Wheel of Bingo to help us pick the next game.

We have a huge supply of great prizes thanks to those fantastic sponsors. This is Bingo for all ages, kids and adults. So if you’re looking for some great fun, stop out to the Vinton Skate & Activity Center located at 1703 C Avenue on Sundays; February 23rd & March 23rd from 5:00 -7:00 p.m. So mark your calendars and bring the whole family or just come by yourself but just come and have some fun.
