Kirkwood Community College, the Iowa State University Extension and Outreach, and Linn County Master Gardeners have teamed up to offer a daylong, gardening education event. The Winter Gardening Fair is scheduled for Saturday, February 15, covering topics from common landscaping mistakes and managing wildlife to raised beds and ornamental grasses.

Anyone interested in gardening is welcome to attend. Participants can attend five classes from the more than 45 workshops offered. Tuition is $49 and includes a box lunch. All classes take place on Kirkwood’s main campus in Cedar Rapids.
