Events and Activities : Relay for Life set for June 13 in Van Horne

Cancer knows no time.

That's why cancer fighters will walk around the track in the battle against this disease on June 13 during the 2014 American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Benton County at the Benton Community Track, Van Horne.

The Relay For Life of Benton County Committee members will hold the Kick Off Rally at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 4, at St. Andrew’s Church in Van Horne. Anyone interested in joining Relay and the fight against cancer is encouraged to attend this informational meeting.

Relay For Life is more than just a fundraiser. At Relay, every person in Benton County is invited to celebrate the lives of those who have had cancer, remember loved ones lost, and fight back against this deadly disease.

No matter why you take part in relay, with every step you take, you are working to create a world where cancer will no longer threaten the lives of our loved ones or claim another year of anyone's life.
