Events and Activities : B-I-N-G-O

The Vinton Parks & Recreation Department is excited about hosting another fun season of Bingo at the Vinton Skate & Activity Center for these winter months. On Sunday, January 26, the center will turn in to a bingo hall from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. and the cool thing is it is free! That’s right because of the overwhelming sponsorship, everyone can come out and have a great time and it won’t cost a penny.

Last year, we had great crowds and we anticipate good turnouts again with lots of fun for everyone. We had individuals from 2 years old through 90 year olds. The good thing is it doesn’t matter what your age, everybody can win. And yes, the rumors are correct; we are honored to have that spectacular caller back for another time. There are no limits to the type of games he will be playing from the traditional bingos to the picture frames to the final event of the night, Blackout! This year we will once again have the Wheel of Bingo to help us pick the next game.

We have a huge supply of great prizes thanks to those fantastic sponsors. This is Bingo for all ages, kids and adults. So if you’re looking for some great fun, stop out to the Vinton Skate & Activity Center located at 1703 C Avenue on Sundays; January 26th, February 23rd & March 23rd from 5:00 -7:00 p.m. So mark your calendars and bring the whole family or just come by yourself but just come and have some fun.
