Events and Activities : Tot Lot Program fun for youth & adults!

The Vinton Parks & Recreation Department has started up the popular Tot Lot Program once again at the Vinton Skate & Activity Center. Tot Lot is a great chance for Pre-school age and younger kids to burn off some energy while interacting with other kids in a fun environment. The centers’ skate floor is filled with mats and lots of climbing apparatuses, toys and some great riding cars, trucks and tractors for kids to propel themselves or have their parents push them around the floor. Tot Lot is also a great time for adults to interact with other adults. It gets parents, babysitters, grandparents or whoever is watching the kids a chance to get out of the house and have a great time. The cost is only $1.00 per time and a season pass and group rates are available. The program is on Wednesdays and Fridays from 9:30 – 11:30 a.m. at the Vinton Skate & Activity Center. Information flyers that include a calendar of play dates on the program can be picked up at either the Vinton Recreation Center or at the Vinton Skate & Activity Center.
