IF Gathering wraps up 3rd year in Vinton

Blessed Hope Chuch hosted the annual IF Gathering for women this year with 65 women attending the event. This was the 3rd year that Blessed Hope has held the event. IF exists to equip women with gospel-centered resources, gatherings, and opportunities so they may learn more about who God is and disciple other women right where they are.

Winter Webcast Series for Master Gardener to begin February 18

Drug Trend Presentation to be held in Belle Plaine

Boom-Fest planning underway, Be part of the Fun!

Dreary skies and cold temps got you down? Start thinking about warm weather, sunshine and Vinton's Boom-Fest celebration! Applications are now available for the 10th Annual Boom-Fest celebration! Boom-Fest will be part of Vinton’s sesquicentennial celebration and is scheduled for Saturday, August 24 from 9 am to 2 pm in Vinton, Iowa.

Cedar Valley Humane Society to hold Vaccine and Microchip Clinic

On Saturday, February 9th, there will be an opportunity for those who might be strapped for cash and need a helping hand with their pet's healthcare. Fro 1-3:00 the Atkins Park Pavillion in Atkins, The Cedar Valley Humane Society is offering a vaccination clinic at extremely low pricing for area residents of Atkins and Benton County.

Annual Band Soup Supper Fundraiser is TONIGHT from 5-7

Izaac Walton League to hold Chili Supper

Blessed Hope Church to Host: IF Conference for Women

Blessed Hope Church is excited to be an IF: Local site for If: Gathering 2019. If: Gathering is a 2-day event for women and is filled with Biblical teaching, worship, and encouragement. IF seeks to equip women to live out their faith in an effective way, and to reach those around them with the love of God.

You have been able to donate hats, mittens and socks to warm the hearts and other parts of people who need them this winter at the giving trees at the Center Point public library. Now Friends of the Library is sponsoring a “Captain Underpants” Giving Tree to fill the under looked need for underwear.
