Tenderloin Dinner at Legion

Vinton Shellsburg to hold a Band Soup Supper January 24

The Vinton-Shellsburg Band Department's Annual Soup Supper has been postponed to Friday, January 24th! Come grab a bowl of Chili, Chicken Noodle Soup and pie for $6, and come back for seconds (and thirds)! It's all you can eat!This would be a perfect way to prepare to cheer on the Vinton-Shellsburg Girls Basketball team as they take on Central DeWitt at 7:30.

Garrison Lions Club to host Soup Supper

The Garrison Lions Club will be hosting its first-ever Soup Supper to raise money for the various projects throughout the year. The supper will be held on Saturday, February 29, 2020, from 5 PM – 7 PM at the Garrison Fire Department. The Fire Department is located at 205 S. Sycamore Ave. Garrison.

The Northeast Iowa Food Bank is partnering with John Deere, the University of Northern Iowa’s Office of Community Engagement, Service and Leadership Council, Panther Pantry, and the Volunteer Center of the Cedar Valley to host the Cedar Valley’s largest volunteer event of the year.

Blessed Hope Community Church to hold Annual Christmas Eve Service

Blessed Hope Community Church will hold the annual Christmas Eve Service at Tilford Elementary beginning at 7:00 p.m. tonight. The event includes cookies and hot chocolate, a photo booth, as part of the fun. There will be a service which includes a Christmas message and music provided by the praise team.
