On Saturday, July 23, there will be a benefit ride for the Pink Heals Eastern Iowa chapter. Registration begins at 10:00 a.m. with kickstand up at 11:00 a.m.Starting line will be at the Ron Da Voo in Vinton.1st Stop Rubies Bar in Center Point2nd Stop Wolfye's in Quasqueton where food will be available. 3rd Stop Givyes Place in Alburnett4th Stop Pearl Street in ShellsburgFinal Stop at Mickeys in Vinton where you have to opportunity to share a meal on the return home.

Farmers Market will be held at Celebration Park from every Thursday evening from 5 - 7:00 pm. Vinton Car Cruise September 24
Spread the word with your friends, and make sure to mark your calendars for September 24th! The Vinton Car Cruise is a meeting place to showcase classic cars, street rods, hot rods, muscle cars, and antique cars.Beginning at 10:00 a.m. cars will begin to arrive in downtown Vinton. The Vinton cruise if one of the largest in Iowa welcoming 3-400 participants as well as car enthusiasts to Vinton each year.

The Shellsburg Lions 9th Annual Golf FundraiserThe Shellsburg Lions Club will be hosting their 9th Annual Golf Fundraiser on June 12 at the Wildcat Golf Course. The Shellsburg Lions have been hosting a golf fundraiser for over 20 years with the last 9 years in partnership with Iowa Humane Alliance in Cedar Rapids and Better Together Animal Rescue in Vinton.
