I'm currently reading 'Everything is Tuberculosis: The History and Persistence of our Deadliest Infection' by John Green. A friend recommended this book to me, knowing my interest in global health. I've read several YA fiction books by John Green, including 'The Fault in our Stars' and 'Paper Towns,' and was interested to read this work of nonfiction.
'Everything is Tuberculosis' teases apart potential answers to the baffling issue of why something that is so preventable can simultaneously be so globally destructive. I find the book well researched, highly readable, and extremely relevant in the world today. I love Green's writing and as one goodreads reviewer wrote, 'Frankly, John, I would read your grocery lists.'
This book currently has 4.41/5 stars on goodreads.com.
Happy reading,
