Et cetera : Hawkeye Community College to Host "Know Before You Go" College Night on April 23

Hawkeye Community College will host "Know Before You Go" College Night on Thursday, April 23, 2026, 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Van G. Miller Adult Learning Center, 120 Jefferson St, Waterloo, Iowa.

The event is geared toward adults who are new to the college experience, who started college but never graduated, or who were recently laid off. At this event they will learn about career training for high-demand fields, financial aid and scholarships, support services for students, and the steps to college admission.

Representatives from Hawkeye Community College, Upper Iowa University, Wartburg College, and the University of Northern Iowa will be on hand to answer questions. 

This event is hosted by the Waterloo Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority.
