Name: Megan Hill

Hometown: Havre de Grace, Maryland

Megan Hill is serving a second year with NCCC at the campus in Vinton, Iowa. She served in 2011 at the Perry Point campus in Maryland as a Class 17 Corps Member. Megan is serving as a Class 18 Team Leader and will lead a team of 10-12 Corps Members over a 10-month period. Her team will serve on four to seven service projects throughout the North Central Region.

Megan wants to serve a second year with NCCC because she wants to continue giving back, serving others and learning about social issues of communities. Megan brings the following skills to her Team Leader position: leadership, motivation and a strong passion for helping communities.

Megan graduated from Havre de Grace High School in 2006 and Towson University in 2010 with a degree in Mathematics/Secondary Education. Before serving with NCCC, Megan was attending school and working several part-time jobs. After NCCC, she plans to begin a career in the non-profit sector.
