Et cetera : What We're Reading: How to Train Your Dragon

When we heard there's a live-action 'How to Train Your Dragon' movie coming out this summer, we knew we had to read the book before hitting the theater. With all the driving to grad parties and extracurriculars lately, it was the perfect excuse to turn car time into story time.

Written by Cressida Cowell, 'How to Train Your Dragon' follows the journey of Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III, a quiet and thoughtful boy who's also the son of the Viking chief. In a world that values loud bravery, how is Hiccup going to capture and train a dragon-and pass the initiation test?

This adventurous and hilarious book had us cheering for Hiccup the whole way. Highly recommend for families who want a fun, heartwarming listen (or read!) before the movie hits the big screen!
