The North Eden Willing Workers 4-H club met on Sunday January 5th at 5:30 p.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Vinton. Committee Meetings and Officers Meetings were held before starting at 5:10 p.m. to discuss and new business that the committee would need to share with the club. The meeting was opened with the Pledge of Allegiance and the 4-H Pledge. Roll Call was, “ What was your favorite winter activity?” We had 21 members present. After the officers' reports the club moved to Old Business. The leaders discussed the Beef Expo coming up in Emmetsburg. The registration is due January 24th.

The club discussed that they will purchase a new club camera. They are going to take money out of the club account and get a Canon sx520. Committees discussed their plans for the upcoming month. The community service committee received a Thank you from the Vinton Lutheran Home. New Business was then discussed. The upcoming meetings will be February 1st at 3:00p.m. March 8th and April 12th both at 5:00p.m. The 4-H bowling tournament will be held February 8th at Berry's Lanes in Vinton. Members signed up. The meeting was adjourned.

Snacks and presentations followed the meeting. Many families provided snacks. Connie and Lauren Upmeyer gave their presentations on how to make peanut butter. Jesse Pladson showed a card trick. Jonhathan Kreutner gave his presentation on how to leather stamp. Sophia Kreutner taught us how to make delicious Watergate pudding. Jenna Pattee showed us how to make duct tape bows. Morgan Lang made galaxy goop and Elijah Kiaiser taught us about leaf coloring.

The next meeting will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church, February 1st , at 3:00
