Michael Meisheid, of Walker was recently honored at Buena Vista University's (BVU) student recognition event. He is a recent graduate of BVU who majored in management, business economics, and finance and banking.

Meisheid received the Management Senior of the Year Award from BVU's Harold Walter Siebens School of Business.

He was also inducted into Alpha Chi, a national honor society recognizing scholarship in all disciplines, promoting academic achievement and encouraging its members to continue their lives as scholars. Membership is restricted to ten percent of the senior class having a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher and five percent of the junior class having a cumulative grade point average of 3.65 or higher.
