Iowa Lakes Community College Fall 2020 Honors List Released

Iowa Lakes Community College has released the fall honors list of full-time students (12 credits or more) who have demonstrated academic excellence by earning a grade point average of 3.25 (based on a 4.00) or higher.Fall semester students who have achieved a 3.25 grade point average or better are recognized by inclusion on the Dean's List.

Warren Rouse Awarded NIH Predoctoral Fellowship

By Ann Robinson and Connie GarnettWarren Rouse, a Biochemistry Ph.D. student in Professor Walter Moss’ research group has been awarded a five-year Ruth L. Kirschstein Predoctoral Individual National Research Service Award (F31). This award is to enable promising predoctoral students with potential to develop into a productive, independent research scientist while conducting graduate research.

The Community Foundation of Northeast Iowa’s scholarship application period is now open and students may apply for scholarships available through CFNEIA at The deadline to apply for 2021 scholarships is March 10. CFNEIA awarded nearly $588,770 in scholarships to high school, college, and adult students in 2020.

Iowa State University announces fall 2020 Dean's List

More than 11,000 Iowa State University students have been recognized for outstanding academic achievement by being named to the fall semester 2020 Dean's List. Students named to the Dean's List must have earned a grade point average of at least 3.50 on a 4.00 scale while carrying a minimum of 12 credit hours of graded course work.

William Penn University recognize students

ECC announces 2020 Fall Term Dean's List

One hundred thirty-five students were named to the Fall 2020 (August to December) Dean's List at Ellsworth Community College. To be eligible for the Dean's List, students must have taken 12 or more credit hours during the semester (a full-time class load) and have earned at least a 3.5 grade point average for the Spring 2020 semester (Note: Developmental courses do not count towards GPA.

The following students graduated from Allen College, receiving a degree and if applicable from Allen College. The College awarded 105 degrees during its commencement ceremonies on Friday, December 18.Allen College conferred 2 Bachelor of Health Sciences degrees with majors in public health, 58 Bachelor of Science in Nursing degrees, 10 Master of Science in Occupational Therapy degrees, 33 Master of Science of Nursing degrees and 2 Doctor of Nursing Practice degrees.
