Et cetera : $100+2: Bethlehem Lutheran Church Celebrates by giving in November 2015

By Bethlehem Lutheran Church Teaching children how to swim is an important life skill that brings a lifetime of pleasurable experiences that are good for one's health. The Vinton Aquatic Club has been training young swimmers since 1958. The coaches for the club begin teaching children as young as 3-4 years of age on how to enjoy this sport individually and competitively. The Vinton Aquatic Club competes with 28 other clubs in completive diving throughout Missouri, Wisconsin, Illinois and of course Iowa. Currently, of the 65 individuals who belong to the Aquatic Club, approximately 48 of these members compete in these diving competitions. The Congregation Council of Bethlehem Lutheran Church was pleased to present the November 2015 gift of $102.00 to the Vinton Aquatic Club. Accepting this gift at the church's worship service on November 29 was Dave Happel the club's Head Coach.
