We’re expecting stellar crowds again this week, so be sure to purchase your tickets in advance at the theatre or online at www.vintonpalace.org. Doors open one hour before the show.

FEBRUARY

Due to the current popularity of “Lincoln,” we are fortunate to have this film before the Oscars. It is an unusual year for the Academy Awards, as many of the nominated movies have been big box office sellers, well loved by national audiences.

As a result, the Palace has already screened several Oscar-nominated pictures, including “Argo,” “Flight,” “Skyfall,” and “Cloud Atlas.” In February, we will show “Life of Pi,” as well as “Jack Reacher,” “Parental Guidance,” and “Gangster Squad.”

Unfortunately, we were unable to get the much-requested “Les Miserable,” but will ask for that film for our annual March Oscar Month. We will also be asking for “Silver Linings Playbook” and “Django.” See you on the red carpet!
