Oh, so very patient Twilight fans, and those catching it for the second, third, or fourth time – “Breaking Dawn, part 2” has arrived!

Playing Friday, January 11 through Thursday, January 17 at 7 pm nightly, and Monday, January 14 at 2 pm, Bella, Edward, and Jacob, joined by Renesmee and the whole Cullen clan, battle the Volturi in this fifth and final Twilight film.

Rated PG-13 for sequences of violence including disturbing images, some sensuality, and partial nudity, and running 116 minutes, this movie is not for our younger viewers.

The vampires and wolves team up and will not disappoint. I’ve heard several Twilight fans comment that this epic finale is the best in the series.

Next up is “Lincoln,” which garnered 12 Oscar nominations. Commentators note that this year’s Academy Awards features mostly films seen and loved by the public, and indeed we’ve already had several of those at the Palace.

Next month we’ve requested “Life of Pi” and “Les Miserable.” Are there any award winning movies left for our traditional March Oscar Month?
