Long-awaited, “The Dark Knight Rises” hits the Palace silver screen Friday, August 17 through Thursday, August 23 at 7 p.m. every night, and in our regular Monday matinee on August 20 at 2 p.m.
With a running time of 164 minutes, and PG-13 rating for intense sequences of violence and action, some sensuality and language, this dark and heavy film is not for younger viewers. However, the star-studded cast, including Christian Bale, Anne Hathaway, Tom Hardy, Marion Cotillard, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, and Morgan Freeman, promises outstanding summer entertainment for adventure-seeking, cape-loving movie-goers.
This finale installment in Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy should bring sold out crowds to the theatre. Be sure to reserve your seats in advance or line up early.
Vinton native, 2006 VSHS graduate, Sarah Springer currently resides in L.A. and worked as a main costumer on this movie! She will be in town for our opening. Sarah will have original costume pieces from “The Dark Knight Rises” on display.
SEPTEMBER
September begins with “The Bourne Legacy” and finishes with “ParaNorman” stacked with “The Campaign,” and the critically acclaimed “Bully.”
Please note – the Palace will be closed for two weeks, September 7 through 20, for auditorium floor refinishing, new seat installation, and deep cleaning.
