Nicholas Sparks fans rejoice! (Sorry, Titanic lovers.) “The Lucky One” plays the Palace Friday, May 11 through Thursday, May 17 at 7 p.m., and Monday, May 14 at 2 p.m.

Date night, chick flick, full on romance. Sigh.

A marine named Logan (Zac Efron) is saved when he bends over to pick up a stray photograph. He carries that photograph with him. Back in the states, as fate would have it, Logan runs into and recognizes Beth (Taylor Schilling) while passing through Louisiana.

Cue ex-husband drama and true love.

This feel good film runs 101 minutes and is rated PG-13 for sexuality and violence. The preview did look pretty sexy, so enjoy, but leave the little ones at home.

MY OTHER HAT
