Entertainment : Second Stage! Summer Theatre Camp Details Announced

'Splashtastic' is the theme for Second Stage! directed by Mary Horst in Van Horne this summer.

Director Mary Horst has announced details of this year's Second Stage! Summer Theatre Camp from ACT I.

Showing June 25 and 26 at 7:00 PM at the Benton Community High School Auditorium in Van Horne, the show is titled SPLASTASTIC and Horst promises many different performance elements in this years production, giving the young performers opportunities for a wide range of experience.

"There will be a play, several skits, songs, even puppets," she said. "And, of course, some fantastic, SPLASHTASTIC surprises!"

Orientation for the production will be Jun 7, 8 and 9 with rehearsals beginning June 14 and going through June 25.

There is a registration fee of $30 per child for the camp, which includes a tee shirt, orientation activities, rehearsals, and of course a part in the final performances!
