The Blues and the Material Truth ¢â‚¬ ¢ Jean-Fran ƒ §ois Charles
From Tehran to Paris in 70 minutes. Jamshid Jam, the duo comprised of artists and composers Jean-Fran ƒ §ois Charles and Ramin Roshandel, will join the core ensemble in a program of newly commissioned music. This eclectic quartet of clarinet, violin, cello and setar will perform a work composed by each guest artist. Roshandel has written Coping Mechanisms, an homage to the great Persian musical traditions and the struggle between good and evil. Charles ¢â‚¬â„¢ The Blues and the Material Truth includes five separate blues inspired by everything from an alpine flower to the hunchback of Notre Dame. Don ¢â‚¬â„¢t miss this powerful partnership!
