Entertainment : ACT I to present GENEVIEVE’S NUTCRACKER November 18-24

ACT I returns with an all-new production of GENEVIEVE'S NUTCRACKER just in time to ring in your holidays. The production will be onstage at the Palace Theatre November 18-24. Sponsored by McClure Financial Services, Laura McClure-Fleck, this year's production features Sue and Dave Gates reprising their roles as Grandma and Grandpa Baxter, and seven-year-old newcomers Ayla Neve (Red Cast) and Brynn Oberhoffer (Green Cast) as granddaughter Genevieve.

In the role of Clara Stahlbaum this year is ten-year-old Payzlee Steele, who has appeared in the production the past two years as a soldier. Twelve-year old Owen Sexton reprises his role as the Nutcracker Prince.

GEVENIEVE's NUTCRACKER has expanded this year to accommodate two casts of performers. New scenes are mixed with your favorite scenes of the past, and many new costumes will debut thanks to the generous support of our ACT I GEMS sponsors.

The production is suited for the entire family and is a perfect length around your downtown holiday shopping. Eight performances are planned, and advance tickets are available at our online link: http://tickets.act1.org/ Tickets will be available at the door while they last.

The Palace Theatre will offer full concessions at each show.
