“A great choice for younger viewers.” ~ Roger Ebert

“Rio” plays the Palace Friday, June 3 through Thursday, June 9 at 7 p.m., and Saturday and Monday, June 4 and 6 at 2 p.m.

Parents, take advantage of this opportunity! There are so few G-rated films these days. Jesse Eisenberg, Anne Hathaway, Jamie Foxx, Will I Am, and George Lopez top the star-studded voice-over crew.

“Rio” features a domesticated macaw named Blu (Eisenberg) who believes he is the last of his kind. Blu heads to Rio de Janero on a mission to meet Jewel (Hathaway). Along the way they fall victim to greedy animal smugglers and make some amazing new fine feathered friends.

This animated 3D adventure runs 96 minutes. Advance tickets may be purchased at the Palace or online at www.vintonpalace.org. We anticipate a busy week at the theatre.
