20th Century Fox did it to us again! I’m sorry to report “Water for Elephants” has been indefinitely postponed.

Instead, the Palace Theatre will show “Source Code” Friday, May 27 through Thursday, June 2 at 7 p.m., and Monday, May 30 at 2 p.m. This sci-fi action thriller stars personal friend of the Palace Michelle Monaghan and Jake Gyllenhaal.

If you liked “The Adjustment Bureau” with Matt Damon and “Inception” with Leonardo DiCaprio you’ll love “Source Code!” Rated PG-13 for action violence and language, and running just under an hour and a half, this movie is the perfect lead into summer blockbuster season.

JUNE

And speaking of summer blockbusters – check out the calendar online or at the theatre. We’ve got “Rio,” “Fast Five,” “Thor” and “Pirates of the Carribbean: On Stranger Tides.” Purchase your tickets now – www.vintonpalace.org! See you at the movies!
