“The Adjustment Bureau” is a romantic drama that poses the question – predestination or free will?
Playing the Palace, Friday, April 15 through Thursday, April 21 at 7 p.m. every night, and Monday, April 18 at 2 p.m., Matt Damon and Emily Blunt tempt the fates for 106 minutes in this suspense thriller rated PG-13.
Damon plays David Norris, a U.S. congressman whose political career is in jeopardy. He meets Elise Sellas (Blunt) in a bathroom where he’s gone to practice his concession speech. She’s hiding in the men’s bathroom to avoid security because she’s crashed a wedding.
“The bureau” steps in to break up their restroom romance, and go to great lengths to make sure David doesn’t see Elise again. But, of course, as must happen in cases of true love, they meet again, and the trouble begins.
Sounds like a perfect date night adventure! See you at the movie!
DID YOU KNOW…
More than 50% of Palace patrons come from outside of Vinton? Here’s what one of our new Facebook friends had to say:
Larry wrote: I took my daughter to see "Rango" at the 2 p.m. showing on Saturday. It was our first time at the Palace Theatre. I don't know which was more outstanding, the movie or the theater. Everyone there was so helpful and friendly. We're definitely coming back!"
