ACT I of Benton County is thrilled to introduce its own theatrical version of the beloved NUTCRACKER classic.
With an original script incorporating speaking as well as dancing roles, the production will be presented at the Palace Theatre Nov. 18-20 as part of Vinton’s annual holiday downtown celebration.
Afternoon staging and dance rehearsals will take place at the Palace in June to set the production. Brush up rehearsals will resume on Sundays in October/November in preparation for performance.

CLARA- Age 9 to 11
NUTCRACKER PRINCE- Age 9 to 11
FRITZ- Clara’s mischievous brother
PARTY GUESTS- Ages 8-11, at least six guests to be cast
MOUSE QUEEN- Teen
MICE- Children
SOLDIERS- Children
TREES- Teen, contemporary dance style
CHOCOLATE, PEPPERMINT, AND CUPCAKE DANCERS- Child or Teen, various styles
SUGAR PLUM FAIRY- Teen toe ballet soloist
