On Saturday, and again on Sunday, The Enchanted Bookshop was performed by actors from the Little Vikes Drama Camp 2021 sponsored by ACT I of Benton County.
Letters went out in April to area parents inviting their children to participate in the 2021 Little Vikes Drama Camp.
The camp began with orientation on June 2. At the end of camp, campers were given their casting assignments for The Enchanted Bookshop Musical.
The Enchanted Bookshop is the story of an ordinary used book shop. By day, A Likely Story is a regular store. By night, the business becomes a magical place, thanks to a spell from the Book Fairy. The characters inside the books come alive each and every night.
Several VSHS Drama students, past and present, will assist in the direction and mentoring of Little Vikes Drama Company Cast.
NEW THIS YEAR the camp took place at the Palace Theatre! The Little Vikes Drama Camp format features an environment in which children can gain familiarity with live theatre, cultivate their imaginations, discover their own individual talents, and acquire vital communication skills. Little Vikes Drama Company productions are warm, rewarding experiences that leave wonderful, lasting memories!
