"Avengers: Age of Ultron" is a sometimes daffy, occasionally baffling, surprisingly touching and even romantic adventure with one kinetic thrill after another. It earns a place of high ranking in the Marvel Universe. ~Richard Roeper

As of 8:30 am, there are 51 tickets presold for tonight’s Palace opening of “The Avengers: Age of Ultron.”

Why should you see this movie? Why wouldn’t you! Robert Downey, Jr.

If Ironman is not reason enough – Mark Ruffalo (the Hulk), Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow), Chris Evans (Captain America), Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye), Samuel L. Jackson (Nick Fury), James Spader (Ultron), and so many more terrific actors make this sequel a minute shorter than the first (2 hours, 21 minutes), but bigger and better in every other way!

Rated PG-13 and showing in fabulous RealD 3D, “Avengers 2” plays Friday, May 22 through Thursday, May 28 at 7 pm, and Saturday and Monday, May 23 and 25 at 2 pm.

Purchase tickets in advance at the box office or online at www.vintonpalace.org.
