The Middle School Fine Arts Night Concert will be Monday, May 18 at 7:00 in the middle school gymnasium. Each of the middle school choirs and bands will be performing under the direction of Mrs. Jodi Bierschenk and Mrs. Lois Martin with assistant director, Ms. Michala Martin and accompanist Mrs. April Ahrenholz.

The public is cordially invited to attend. Floor seating in chairs, balcony seating and the center section of bleachers will be available for the audience. While there is no admission charge, donations are always welcome! Concert proceeds help offset the costs of music, instruments, registrations and more for our middle school musicians throughout the school year.

A wonderful variety of music will be presented to showcase the accomplishments of each group. Among the choir selections you will hear “American Folk Rhapsody,” “I Am But a Small Voice,” “Burn,” “Radioactive,” “One Tin Soldier,” “Carry On My Wayward Son” and “Bridge Over Troubled Water.”

Completing the Fine Arts Night will be the all middle school art show. The art show, held in the student center, will be open from 5 pm to completion of the concert. Works representing each middle school student will be displayed. The students are instructed by Mrs. Amy Sharar.

Plan to join us for a great evening celebrating our Vinton-Shellsburg Middle School students and their wonderful talents!
