Entertainment : Annual Guitar Jam to raise money for V-S Dollars for Scholars

The 6th Annual Todd Frank Guitar Jam (formerly called the Village Idiot Jam) will take place from 7-10 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 11, in the Tilford Middle School auditorium.

Todd Franck of Vinton and a variety of musicians from all over the U.S. will perform. Most of these individuals met through on-line music groups.

The event is a fund-raiser for the Vinton-Shellsburg Dollars for Scholars organization. Admission is free, but a free-will offering will be taken.

The event is described as a “nation-wide assembly of Americana- folk with pickers strummers and bow wielders.”

The public is invited to attend.
