Looking for one last bit of summer fun before the kids head back to school?

Join us for plenty of 3D thrills and laughter at the Palace this week!

“Despicable Me” plays Friday, August 13, through Thursday, August 19, at 7 p.m. ever night, and in special 2 p.m. matinees Saturday, August 14, Monday, August 16 and Wednesday, August 18.

In Gru’s black house with its dead lawn, is a secret basement hideout. With the Minions (his army of minions) Gru (voiced by Steve Carell) is planning the biggest heist in the history of the world. He is going to steal the moon!

Gru is nasty, nasty, nasty in the eyes of everyone he meets, with the exception of three little girls named Margo, Edith and Agnes.

These young orphan girls see beyond Gru’s arsenal of mean and may just be his undoing.

My daughters Emma, Megan and Clare all saw this movie in Dubuque and raved about it.  They thought it was hilarious.

Megan liked it so much she said she’s going to name her daughters Margo, Edith and Agnes.  Hopefully she’ll finish college first.

Remember, we’ve got the Only $3 3D in the World at the Palace Theatre.  You may want to purchase your tickets in advance at the theatre or online at www.vintonpalace.org, or plan to line up
