We’ve got a winning combination this weekend, with Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz tearing up the big screen at the Palace Theatre.
“Knight and Day” plays Friday, August 6 through Thursday, August 12 at 7 p.m. every night, and Monday, August 9 at 2 p.m. Running 109 minutes and rated PG-13 for sexuality and strong violence and language, this movie is better suited for our more mature patrons.
June Havens (Cameron Diaz) is on her way to her sister's wedding when she accidentally bumps into Roy Miller (Tom Cruise), a charming and handsome rogue FBI agent. Following a bit flirting and a lot of violence and mayhem, and the thrown-together couple soon find themselves traveling the globe, fighting for their lives.
I never think I like Tom Cruise until I watch him. He always delivers! And, Cameron Diaz is wonderful. I anticipate terrific chemistry, and according to Roger Ebert – too much CGI action! M
r. Ebert thinks this flick would be better left as a pure romantic comedy. I suspect the director/producer wanted to appeal to both women and men. So there you have it – make it a date! With popcorn! See you at the movies!
