We end February with “Lone Survivor,” a grueling, riveting war movie, rated R for bloody violence and pervasive language. Mark Wahlberg headlines this first-person account, playing the Palace Friday, February 21 through Thursday, February 27 at 7 pm, and Monday, February 24 at 2 pm.

This is a serious movie about a serious topic, the assassination of a Taliban leader in Afghanistan, based on The New York Times bestselling memoir of Ex Navy SEAL Marcus Luttrell. An action film so realistic and intimate, brutal and visceral, you’ll feel you actually understand what it’s really like to go to war, and may suffer your own PTSD after the experience.

We’ve had many requests for “Lone Survivor.” Lobby talk from the few who’ve already had a chance to see it: “It’s hard to watch.”
