“Man of Steel” in 3D opens Friday, July 26 through Thursday, August 1 at 7 pm and Monday, July 29 at 2 pm.

A small boy, Clark Kent (Henry Cavill) learns that he has extraordinary powers and is not of this Earth. As a young man, he journeys to discover where he came from and what he was sent here to do. The hero in him must emerge if he is to save the world from annihilation and become the symbol of hope for all mankind.

With Kevin Costner and Diane Lane as Clark’s parents and Amy Adams as Lois Lane, this action adventure science fiction fantasy is a dark and serious reimagining of many earlier versions of the Superman franchise. Russell Crowe and Laurence Fishburne round out the all-star cast.

“Man of Steel” is rated PG-13 and runs two and a half hours.
