Entertainment : Young ACT 1 performers prepare for 'Calamity Jane' shows this weekend

Young ACT 1 performers, led by Old Creamery Theater members, prepare for this weekend's shows.

You have an exciting opportunity to see budding actresses and actors from the Vinton area on stage this week end. They have been rehearsing “Calamity Jane and the Showdown at Dry Gulch” all week under the direction of three talented people from The Old Creamery Theatre.

Show times are Friday night July 19, at 7 p.m,, and Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m., in the Vinton-Shellsburg High School auditorium. Enter the building through the Activities Entrance. Come and show your support for these young actresses and actors as they become cowpokes, skunks, and other characters at the “Showdown”. Tickets are only $3 so come and bring the whole family.
