A choice of salads is available on the buffet. Everyone is WELCOME! Suggested contribution for individuals 60 years old or older, and their spouse (regardless of age) is $2.75 for the meal. Individuals who are not yet 60 are WELCOME but need to pay $3.75 for their meal. Carryout meals are available. We deliver meals to Vinton, Newhall, Urbana, and Garrison/Mt Auburn. The suggested contribution is $3.00/meal if you are 60 or older. We also have nutritious frozen meals and liquid supplements. Delivery is throughout Benton County. On Monday, April 19th, there were three tables of Pepper Cards played. Geri Shaffer won 1st place with 271 points. Irene Geiger took 2nd place with 252 points. Bud Barr won 3rd place with 248 points. HACAP furnished beverages and other refreshments were provided by the card club. On Tuesday, April 20th, the activity of the day was 10-Cent Bingo with the games being handpicked by Martha Cohrt. The caller was Evelyn Greenwood. Game one was a baseball and won by Zella Alpers. Jacquie Winkler won game two, which was frame the card. Game three was the letter X and won by Norma Ellis. Game four was a layered cake and won by Elsie Knaack. Zella Alpers and JoAnn Roster won game five with blackout. On Wednesday, April 21st, Judy Mehlert provided the afternoon entertainment. On Thursday, April 22nd, the activity was 10-Cent Bingo. The Bingo games of the day were handpicked by Fern Lewis. Vickie Holst was the bingo caller. Game one was a nine pack and was won by Ruth Wieditz. Game two was a flag with Faye Goodell winning. Game three was a wild number 3 with Elsie Knaack and Jacquie Winkler winning. Game four was 2 hard ways with Greta Geiken winning. Bingo ended with Blackout and Jacquie Winkler winning. On Friday, April 23rd, there were 5 tables of 500 played. Milton Smith won 1st place with 3,450 points. Milo Cobb won 2nd place with 3,225 points. Irene Geiger won 3rd place with 2,840 points. HACAP furnished beverages and other refreshments were provided by Bud and Bernadine Barr and the card club. On Monday, April 26th, there were 5 tables of Pepper Cards played. Geri Shaffer won 1st place with 234 points. Fern Lewis won 2nd place with 233 points. Burdell Staab won 3rd place with 204 points. After the games, refreshments were provided by the card club. Beverages were provided by HACAP. On Tuesday, April 27th, we welcomed Arlo and Arlene Pelley as guests. We also welcomed Marvin Lindsey and Helen McClain as guests. The Don Anders Band provided the afternoon entertainment. On Wednesday, April 28th, the activity of the day was 10-Cent Bingo. The caller was Janet Lovell and the games were handpicked by Jacquie Winkler. Game one was a nine pack with Marion Isabel winning. Game two was a baseball with Faye Goodell winning. Wild Number was game three with Faye Goodell winning. Game four was four corners and frame the free spot with Marion Isabel winning. Elsie Knaack won Blackout on game five. On Thursday, April 29th, the activity was 10-Cent Bingo with the games being handpicked by Elsie Knaack. The bingo caller was Vickie Holst. Game one was frame the card with Faye Goodell winning. Game two was a 9 pack with JoAnn Roster winning. Game three was a telephone pole and won by Delane Kalina. Game four was make a T and Fern Lewis was the winner. Game five was blackout with Fern Lewis and Jeanette Blazicek winning. On Friday, April 30th, there were 5 tables of 500 played. Nellie Cobb won 1st place with 3,270 points.
