Business : Better Together seeks Matching Funds

When we chose to start our own animal rescue, we made the decision to stay in Vinton because it's a community we love. Over the past year, we have been shown nothing but 100% support and encouragement from our community. Since earning our shelter license earlier this year, Better Together has successfully transferred 17 cats from Friends of the Shelter and rescued 46 others and 1 dog.

To help us continue our mission, we have been offered one of the most generous gifts thus far...and a way for you to double your impact. All donations collected now through the end of the month will be matched, up to $1,500 by an anonymous donor. We can't imagine the impact Better Together can make in our community with $3,000, but we promise we'll show you! These funds will allow us to not only accept more animals, but provide the proper vetting, diet and housing they need.

Better Together has always been and will always be a 100% volunteer run, no-kill organization. To date we've had a 100% survival rate and we're determined to do our best to keep it that way.
