McDonald's celebrates their Grand Re-Opening with facelift and new technology

McDonald’s Experience of the Future has officially arrived in Vinton! Order your way with new kiosks, table service from the front counter, a mobile app with pickup or delivery to your vehicle, brand new digital menu boards in the drive-thru, and more! The store, located at 308 S. K Ave., received a facelift over the past few months as crew members worked to serve customers throughout construction. When you stop, you’ll notice an expanded McCafe menu, completely remodeled restrooms, new floor tile, and a new look at the front counter. One thing that has stayed the same is the friendly faces dedicated to serving you the McDonald’s favorites you’ve come to love over generations.

Owner/Operator Scott Soifer kept a close eye on construction and stopped frequently to check on progress. On completion of the project, he said “We love being a part of the Vinton community and are especially excited to be able to reinvest to bring a modern experience to our customers and employees. I am thrilled with the end result!” General Manager Kathy is excited to welcome customers- both old and new, back to the store as she embraces what McDonald’s has brought to the fast food table.

Vinton Unlimited helped kick off the grand re-opening celebration with a ribbon cutting on
Monday, June 24. The celebration continues with an opportunity to spin the wheel for prizes on Thursday, June 27 and Friday, June 28 from 11 AM-1 PM. There will also be an opportunity to register for prizes until July 7, including ‘Free McCafe for a Year’ cards! To encourage people to try out some of the new technology, Soifer Family McDonalds will be donating $.50 from every order placed on the kiosk or on the mobile app to the Vinton-Shellsburg Marching Band toward the purchase of new uniforms. This donation will continue throughout the months of June and July.
