Program for women farmers and landowners features crop marketing

Agronomy in the Field is a multi-session and hands-on workshop being offered to women landowners, farmers, conservationists and other women who are interested in learning more about agronomy. This series of workshops will be held monthly between Benton and Iowa counties during the 2019 growing season.

Coots Materials Company Honored for Plant Safety in 2018

Coots Materials Company, in Vinton, Iowa, were recognized at the Iowa Limestone Producers Association's 74th Annual Convention recently held in Iowa City. Coots Materials employees operating in Plant #1 in Benton County were honored for working the entire year of 2018 without a lost time accident. The Iowa Limestone Producers Association sponsors a safety contest each year to give recognition to those member companies and employees who strive, as part of their everyday activities, to work safely.

T-J Gas Announces New Location

T-J Gas has announced that they have relocated their offices to 1209 West D. St. in Vinton.This is the location where their bulk tanks and the shop is also located.
