Clickstop donation drive was big success; outreach continues

Boxes stacked up quickly, packed and overflowing with items all to help local families in need. That was the scene last month as Clickstop hosted its first donation drive for its newly created charity organization, Clickstop Cares.

Still growing: Clickstop adds 12 employees

Urbana-based Clickstop has recently expanded its workforce with 12 new employees. Eleven new team members have joined the company’s flagship brand, USCargoControl.

Sally Pederson to speak at VU annual meeting Feb. 5

The Vinton Unlimited Annual Meeting will take place Thursday, Feb. 5, at the Vinton Shellsburg Central Office – 1502 C Ave, Vinton. The guest speaker will be Vinton native Sally Pederson, the former Lieutenant Governor of Iowa.

Feedlot Facility Workshops coming in February and March

The Iowa Beef Center at Iowa State University will offer several workshops focusing on choices in feedlot facilities in February and March 2015. Russ Euken, ISU Extension and Outreach beef program specialist, said the workshops, set in various locations throughout the state, will offer an overview of facility types, advantages, and disadvantages, and review research on these types.
