Et cetera : What We're Reading: Cold Blooded Liar

I just finished the romantic suspense novel "Cold Blooded Liar" by Karen Rose. It tells the story of Kit McKittrick, a homicide detective with a traumatic past, as she tries to catch a serial killer. Since the author's last name is Rose, this is my current Adventures in Bookclubbing flower-themed pick. The writing is fast paced, the characters are believable, and the story kept me on the edge of my seat without being overtly graphic. I would recommend it for fans of Allison Brennan and Laura Griffin. The book is the first in a series, it was published in 2023, and it currently has 4.36/5 stars on goodreads.com.
