Sports : Area Youth take part in the 2022 Annual Live Healthy Iowa Kids Track Meet

One of the more than 160 participants in the Live Healthy Iowa Kids Track Meet

Over 160 area youth ranging in ages from 5 to 14 years old participated in the Vinton Parks & Recreation Department sponsored Live Healthy Iowa Kids Track Meet on Wednesday, May 4 at the Karr Athletic Complex.

A huge thank you goes out to all the volunteers that generously donated their time to help make this event a success! All youth that participated received a certificate. If participants left early, these certificates may be picked up at the Vinton Recreation Center.

Results are sent in to the state office and all 1st place finishers in the 7-14 age divisions are eligible to participate in the State Meet held in Marshalltown on Saturday, June 18.
